Hartford County resident Martel O. Davis, of Windsor, was charged with assaulting public safety officer, interfering with police, and failure to comply with fingerprint requirements, state police said. He was being held on a $150,000 bond.

Police did not describe the nature of the calls to Bradley Airport in Windsor Locks, but investigators said they traced them back to Davis, who already had two open warrants for his arrest.

Troopers arrived at his Pine Lane home around 9:30 p.m. Monday, and Davis became belligerent and attacked the officers, a police report said.

One trooper was injured in the fight, but they were eventually able to handcuff Davis.

Martel's arrest report did not disclose what his active warrants were for.
